Brewing.] [OE. brewen, AS. bre['o]wan; akin to D. brouwen,
OHG. priuwan, MHG. briuwen, br?wen, G. brauen, Icel. brugga,
Sw. brygga, Dan. brygge, and perh. to L. defrutum must boiled
down, Gr. ? (for ??) a kind of beer. The original meaning
